Where to begin…there are a few amazing new features coming very very soon.

The biggest and best new feature will be the new hair/faces and custom texture client.  The new hair and faces are an attempt to make avatars more realistic and smoother in texture.  I can’t go into great detail until the preview client is public but there are more colors for hair and eyes and a few more defined designs.

The other amazing new feature allows you to create and sell your own clothes as well as maintain your inventory on the 2d website.  In selling your own clothes, you can set how much you want to make from each sale and if you want the designs to be public or private.  Also, if you want to buy things offered in the stores, you can goto the 2d webpage and buy them from there…no more need for the mall.

Finally, the last thing coming is something i’ve posted on before.  Previously called the Foam Gun Game, the newest game called Ka-Ching is a 3rd person shooter and coin collecting game.  I’ve seen very little of this but what i have seen is really awesome and addictive.  If you haven’t joined Kaneva yet, you’ll want to join for this!!

Kaneva released 60 new items to the list this week as well as a new credit package.  Basically eveything you see in Kaneva City can be purchased and placed in your home or hangout.  The credit package is quite amazing as well.  For $29.99 you get 5000 credits, the new texturized marquee and one of the new buildings, this would equal about 20,000 credits worth!

I decided to visit the profiles of a few friends on Kaneva the other day when i started to notice something kind of cool.  Being a Christian, i’m always on the lookout for other Christians but i started to notice a few friends had listedd other religions such as Muslim and Wiccan.

It’s awesome that in such a massive online world, people aren’t discriminated for religion, race, gender or whatever other thing people hate on.  Sure, you get the occasional jerk that says a racial comment but they are easily removed.

I just thought it was cool that Kaneva allows people to be themselves.

Game Master Corelli informed us this evening that the anticipated update is on schedule and may be made life as soon as August 4th.

Unfortunately, the new title system won’t be so lucky.  Corelli stated if you google “kaneva, crazed, strangulation, intern, trial date” you would find the reason why so we can only assume it was a staff issue.

Kaneva has released the top 5 ways to get rewards in Kaneva through the new World Fame feature.  There is a list of about 20-30 ways but these are the easiest and most effective ways to get free rewards in Kaneva.

1. Sign in to the World of Kaneva: Entering the 3D world is easy and free.
2. Decorate your 3D home: Shop for and place cool 3D items.
3. Change your clothes: Shop for a new outfit, and then dress your Avatar.
4. Add a YouTube™ video: Find a video, and add it to your media library.
5. Get people to join: Kaneva’s more fun with friends, and we’ll reward you when they join.

• User generated content: You can create, upload and sell textures for clothes)
• Online 2d catalog that lists and allows you to buy any item sold in the game (woot, no more mall!)
• The catalog will also allow you to track your fame, purchases and inventory.
• A coin collecting/first person shooter (formerly known as the foam gun game)
• And new hair/face designs

The highly celebrated and loved Game Master Corelli has just announced what’s coming in the next update.  Besides fixes for the title system and a few other small things, here’s what’s coming:

• New flags coming specifically USA and Canada
• The final release of the Kanimals (Kaneva Animals) will be released
• New building supplies will be made available.
• With the building supplies, full pre-made buildings can be purchased.
• Some items from Kaneva City will be made buyable
• An animated marquee that can be texturized will be the biggie (maybe apart of the credit package?)

Kaneva hasn’t made the new faces public yet but they will be made public in the preview server very soon. So to keep you happy until then, here’s a little Kaneva banner with a screenshot.

It looks like Kaneva is closing the DJ Credit special which means a new credit special is on the horizon.  There’s no new items that could be included in a new special so maybe new items are coming as well?
